If you are currently teaching at a school, at an adult education centre, or at a higher education centre in a European country (except Spain) you can apply for an Erasmus+ grant to take a course in Tía Tula Spanish School, within Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals:

KA1 Mobility project for school staff

KA1 Mobility project for adult education staff

KA1 Mobility project for higher education students and staff

Specifically, it would be the participation in an estructured course in a foreign country. Course fees, transport, food, accommodation, and organisation, preparation and monitoring expenses can be covered by the grant. There are also funds aimed at participants with special needs.


Who can benefit from the grant? +

  • Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign language in primary or secondary schools (KA1: Mobility project for school staff)
  • Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign language in adult education centres (KA1: Mobility project for adult education staff)
  • Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign language in higher education centres (KA1: Mobility project for higher education students and staff)

Teachers (either native Spanish speakers or non-native) must be currently working in one of the following countries:

Check with the National Agency of the country where you work that your centre is eligible for the grant.

If you are a teacher in Spain you can still take a course with us, only you cannot apply for the grant to cover it.


How do you apply? +

A school sending its staff abroad. Only the headmaster or the area coordinator can apply on behalf of the school; individuals cannot apply directly for a grant. We will gladly assist you.

General conditions
  1. Tía Tula Colegio de Español undertakes to book a place for the student to take either the “One-week sample program” or a personalized program agreed with the student - duration and dates to be confirmed also in agreement with the student (the dates the student has specified in this form will be taken as a base reference).
  2. By submitting this form, the student only undertakes to make full payment at least 30 days prior to the course start date. After that point, Tía Tula Colegio de Español is freed from the obligation to reserve a place for the student.
  3. Tía Tula Colegio de Español also undertakes to arrange accommodation if requested by the student –dates, type of accommodation, board, price, etc. to be agreed with them). Full payment is required at least 30 days prior to the course start date. After that point, Tía Tula Colegio de Español is freed from the obligation to reserve accommodation for the student.
  4. In the event that the student wishes to cancel their booking earlier than 30 days prior to the course start date, they would be entitled to a refund of 50% of the amount paid minus any non-refundable expenses incurred (bank fees, express courier and transfer service fee if there were any). No refunds will be made for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the course start date.
  5. Tía Tula Colegio de Español reserves the right to cancel the registration of any student whose behaviour is innappropriate or unacceptable. In that case the student loses the right to a refund.
  6. Besides lectures, the price includes:
    • School material needed for the course.
    • The cultural and social activities announced on the centre’s notice board.
    • A Tía Tula Student ID which allows the holder to benefits from numerous discounts in shops, cinemas, sports facilities, restaurants, etc.
    • Academic certificate from Tía Tula stating the course title, full description and number of hours.
    • The reservation of chosen housing (if there is such) and the possibility to change with justified reasoning (all other changes will result in an extra charge of 15€ each). In the case of a change in housing, notice must be given at least one week in advance of the desired date of change.
    • Free Internet access within the school
  7. The acceptance of the above conditions are complementary or alternatively regulated by the law of civil law and respecting the rights of consumers, particularly the Art 82/95 of the Junta de Castilla y Leon and Art Law 26/84 of defense consumers.
  8. According to the Spanish legislation relating to confidentiality and protection of personal data (Article 15/1999), personal information will be treated as private information by Tía Tula Colegio de Español. Tía Tula informs the student that personal data obtained through the free completion of this form will be included in a file for automated processing; the student, meanwhile, authorises this treatment by accepting these conditions. The data is purely for internal use and is for statistical and administrative purposes - designed to help provide the services that the student requests and to communicate with him/her regarding these services. The data may be used during the provision of services and subsequent to the provision of services in dealing with outstanding matters related to these same services. In any case, in accordance with Spanish legislation, the student may, at any time, exercise his/her rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by writing to Tía Tula Colegio de Español, S.L. (CIF:B37410214) - which acknowledges and accepts responsibility for the control of the data -, to c/ Rúa Mayor, 43-47, 1° Dcha - 37008 Salamanca (Spain).
  9. The student agrees that his/her image can be used for advertising when it appears in photos or videos taken inside the school, or during extracurricular activities.
